This weekend was 48 hours of the most glorious weather we've had since... well, last summer, which, after such a slow spring feels like it was years ago. It feels amazing to officially break out light layers and waltz around the city, soaking it up.

The bright graffiti colours felt like perfect backdrop for this bright houndstooth print scarf by BrianneFaye and I liked the contrast against a neutral coloured outfit, also sooo in love with my new Ray-Ban cat eye sunnies! They've definitely earned their place as a staple pair for the summer if warm air ever decides to arrive here. Hurry up spring!

I'm all for pattern mixing, and the more the merrier in my opinion! The key to making pattern mixing easy is to mix within similar colours. I wore this a few weeks ago while visiting my sister in Chicago, and basically raided her closet for the entire weekend... hehe that's what sisters are for!

When eShakti asked me to select a piece from their spring collection, I was pretty darn excited. This coral dress immediately caught my eye and I've been dying for some sunshine to wear it for ages - and finally it's here! I paired it black accents to contrast the girly-ness with a bit of edge. I can totally see this dress working for lots of spring and summer activities, from a picnic in the park to a chic city wedding.
